Surveying

We offer asbestos surveys for both Management of asbestos in premises for ‘dutyholders’ compliance with the law and full access surveys for refurbishment and demolition works.

We are accredited by UKAS to the criteria of ISO/IEC 17020.

Our surveys ensure that you comply fully with all current legislation.

All surveys are UKAS accredited and are carried out using standards laid out in “HSG 264 Asbestos: The survey guide” and “HSG227 A comprehensive guide to managing asbestos in premises.”

Bulk identification

Amstech provides a bulk sampling and identification service from its laboratory in Newhaven.

We can visit your site and take a sample or analyse samples that you send to our laboratory.

All asbestos samples are analysed by our UKAS accredited Laboratory to ISO/IEC 17025:2005 using standards laid out in “HSG 248Asbestos: The analysts guide for sampling, analysis & clearance procedures”.

Our laboratory aims to have sample results to you within 48 hours.
